A lifelong lover of photography, a nurse practitioner with a forensic background. While I’ve always been passionate about photography, it was during graduate school that I really honed in on my skills. Balancing studies and life, photography became my creative outlet and a grounding space to grow.
Interestingly enough, my forensic nursing degree played a role too—learning how to document crime scenes taught me a lot about angles, lighting, precision, and storytelling through images.
Now, I use those same skills to capture life’s most meaningful moments—weddings, families, seniors, motherhood, and the in-between beauty. My work is rooted in connection, compassion, and attention to every detail.
The things that brought me peace became the heart of my photography.. to live life.
FAQ
How long until I receive the final photos?
You’ll receive your full gallery within 1–2 weeks after your session. I carefully edit each image to make sure it’s the best reflection of you, so I promise it’s worth the wait! Weddings can take up to 10 weeks depending on the season.
Help! I don’t know what to wear.
Don’t stress—I’ve got you covered! After booking, I’ll can help you a with color coordinating, outfit pairings, and even seasonal suggestions. You’re also welcome to send me outfit options if you’d like a second opinion. My best advice: wear something you feel comfortable and confident in, and try to coordinate (not match) with others in the session.
Can I request specific poses or shots?
Absolutely! I want your photos to feel personal and true to you. If there are specific poses, groupings, or “must-have” shots, just let me know ahead of time in your questionnaire (or during the session). I’ll do my best to capture everything on your wish list while also guiding you through natural, candid moments.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens—I get it! If you need to reschedule, please give me at least 48 hours’ notice so we can find a new time that works. If it's less than 24 hours' notice a rescheduling fee of $50 will apply. All cancellations forfeit any payments. In case of bad weather (for outdoor sessions), I’ll work with you to reschedule at no extra charge.
Where are you located?
I’m based in Harwood, North Dakota, and serve the surrounding Fargo–Moorhead area. I’m always up for a little travel too if you have a special location in mind, just let me know and we can chat about options!
How do I book a session?
Booking is simple! Just reach out through my contact form, and I’ll send you all the details to secure your spot. A retainer fee and signed agreement are required to officially reserve your session date.
